Clearing Customs

Foreign guests are easily targeted at the airport by greedy airport porters. They may try to take charge of your luggage, looking for an unrealistic gratuity. Please be warned that they quickly identify tired and weary travellers. Do not tip any customs or immigration officials.

Full unabridged birth certificates are required for travel to South Africa with children. This needs to have full parental details included on the birth certificate.
